The Department of Medical Gastroenterology is equipped with the most advanced video endoscopy system available for evaluation of gastro intestinal diseases.

◆ The Department is fully prepared for the management of gastro-intestinal emergencies like GI bleeding, liver failure, acute pancreatitis, etc.
◆ All diagnostic & therapeutic procedures like gastroscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatography) are performed.
◆ The Department also serves as a training and teaching center for postgraduates and visiting physicians.
