Department of RADIODIAGNOSIS ; NRI Medical college and General hospital is located in the ground floor of main hospital building and is equipped with state of art radiology machines. Cath lab is located in the second floor of main hospital building. CT scanner is located close to emergency block for easy access to critically needed patients.

Department was established along with inception of medical college in June 2003 . Since then it has been progressing under the able guidance of DR APPA RAO MUKKAMMALA MD Chair, Department of Radiology, Clinical Professor of Radiology, MSU. Hurley Medical Center and also President of NRI Academy of sciences.

The Department examines over 90,285 patients each year. All forms of diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures are performed. Experienced radiologists are available 24 hrs a day and seven days a week.

Department houses several advanced equipments. Notable among are two CT scanners, one of them is 16slice CT scanner with volume rendering and angiographic capabilities, 1.5 T MRI with MR spectroscopy and angiography, variety of ultrasound scanners, computed radiography and biplane cath lab.

Section library of department is well equipped with several reference and standard books, journals and educational DVDs.
